smoke signals... episode 12.13.09

 It’s been quite some time since my last smoke signal went up in the air, so we are going to have to roll a hell of a fatty blunt this time to make up for all that missed time!!  Light it up and read on!

Opportunity is the word that I my blog will be based on this time.

“A good position, chance, or prospect, as for advancement or success.”

The reason I want to focus on this word is because I have never in my life had so much OPPORTUNITY as I do now that I have entered the MHT contest. Being in this contest has opened doors that I once thought could never be opened. Since I last left you, my friends, my life has once again taken a turn for the better.

First off, I have a new job.  I now work at “Boulder Holistic Solutions,” a warehouse for legal patient medicine along with a dispensary. I cannot tell you how much of a pleasure it is waking up every day and doing something I love doing at the age of 20!  I learn something new every day about the plant we all love, while at the same time having the opportunity to meet great people along the way. What more could anyone want with their life? And let me tell you, I know in my heart that this is just the beginning for me.

As for everything going on in MHT, I want to first congratulate one of my best friends ALEX for winning Miss January!!! I can honestly say she has always been one hell of a girl by simply being herself and loving everyone and everything while at the same time being so beautiful!! I feel so lucky that to call her one of my best friends on this site and I really cannot wait to finally meet her in person. As for the buzz about me being Miss February.... I believe the rumor is true!!!  AHHH!!  Today another friend of mine from this site, Miss Stoney McStonerson, is coming down to show me the new issue of HT and I am so stoked!! Just the thought of having this opportunity was something that I only dreamed about a year ago.  Being able to say that I achieved this dream is something that puts a smile on my face even in my darkest hours.  

I can say that this competition is as real as it gets.  To every hater out there who thinks the contest is somehow rigged... HIGHTIMES really does look at every girl in the contest and how much they use the tools that are set in front of them. Because when it comes down to it everyone and anyone can smoke marijuana everyday all day. But it’s the people who go out and make a difference that really matter in this fight. I feel so blessed as to have the OPPORTUNITY to represent Colorado, and now HIGHTIMES, in everything I do.  

I want to thank everyone who has voted for me and continues to vote for me as well as leave me comments. I can’t tell you how much it means to me.  Not even my family knows about how much I am involved because I live pretty far away from them so it really has been you guys who have made me what I am today.  Even though I have been selected, I am NOT ABOUT to stop being active on this page.  I will continue to comment and vote for my gals, post photos and blogs, and simply BE INVOLVED.

So take a big pull off that blunt for me!!!  Ha ha ha!!!

Person of the week: Amber, My Sweet Sensi... don’t think that I forgot about you girl!  You are so beautiful inside and out. There would be nothing better for me than to see you and Alex and blaze up a fatty together. You guys have been my rock here and I know in my heart that I wouldn’t be were I am without you girl.
