Hello, My name is Gina, I am a graphic designer and I love marijuana! I love to think of creative new ways to consume this wonderful herb, from crazy home made paraphernalia, to infused garlic rosemary marijuana olive oil, which would be awesome cooked into a nice marinara, or sauteed lightly with some sliced zucchini.
Equally, another passion of mine is art, and I love to incorporate marijuana into my art as much as possible, in fact, I am very interested in using my art to help advocate the legalization of marijuana. This is why I think I would be a great Miss Hightimes, because I will be able to reach out to so many more people than I ever could now.

I am back from the lake everyone, what a great summer that was! I spent my days working hard, my afternoons hiking and swimming, and my evenings toking it up with the crew! There was a professional glass blower on staff, and since glass art is a huge interest of mine, I spent lots of time in his hot shop learning everything I could. It was truly the best summer of my life thus far...hopefully next year will be a good repeat.

Your essay on "why" you'd make a great Miss HighTimes was well-written and the reasons were justified--especially when you stated how you could use your art to promote "legalization/decriminalization"--which is really the foundational basis for all that we do. That coupled with your creativity to show how it could be implemented in daily life, such as cooking, etc... were justifiably reasons to make your candidacy a strong one. Where/how do we put our "vote'' in for you?
