Hey ya'll, my name is Merielle. When the Serengetti's are on you know its smoking time. I was born and raised on the New Jersey coast. I happen to be Puerto Rican and 2nd generation stoner. It was definitely in my genes to find marijuana and stay at it.
I started smoking when I was 18 and I can honestly say that I never felt right in my skin until I started smoking marijuana. All the thoughts in my head became organized and I could make sense of it all. Pot helped me see small pieces of the big picture and it made me question EVERYTHING, especially authority and laws that invade my privacy. My favorite place to take Miss Jane is into the Jersey woods. During the summer months I spent my days off work sprawled out on a blanket in the woods with my love; to me being in nature is truly bliss.
I have a lot of admiration for those brave enough to try to unite the people. While egos come into play and distract from the ultimate goal of unity, it is the voices of those like Mr. Marley, Mr. Lennon, and Mrs. Benazir Bhutto who've showed us we are not fools for seeing humanity as the big, extended family it is.
To any one involved in the opposition of marijuana legalization, here are a few words: "You can imprison a man, but not an idea. You can exile a man, but not an idea. You can kill a man, but not an idea."

Although I do not follow any set religion I think it is beautiful when a man can find happiness in their religion (just not when it makes them think of themselves as superior to others). However, I do believe 100% in the Mother because when I am outdoors I cannot deny her beauty or her love.
