My real name is Lindsey and I am Ripsi by alias. Been an herb lover for nearly ten years! I want to start by admitting that I am not an activist. I hate politics. I am a representation. I am a representation of your everyday functional pot smoker. This is why I feel I should represent High Times. I am the hidden America that smokes, although, I am not afraid to admit it---I am proud of it.
I never really knew my place in life. Everytime someone asked me what my hobby was, all I could ever come up with was that I'm a stoner, I like hemp and blown glass, and I like to hackysack. Highschool was awkward because I was in classes with gifted individuals who didnt share the same loves I did. Today, I have found my place, and I'm so grateful. I'm a dreamer and a stoner's dream all in one. I have a degree and am working on a master's program. For now, I drive around, get high and deliver food! When you open your door as your stomach aches for what you've been anticipating, you have a hott stoned girl there--steam coming out of the red bag which beholds your delicious food. You can't help but pass your money over because you are in awestruck by the combination of the scent of your food tingling your nose and the girl standing at your door who you accidentally referred to as the "pizza guy." After the food is handed over, she's still down to rip a bong before she skips down your path back to her mini van of deliciousness!
I never have a day that doesn't consist of herbage! It helps my pain, soothes my mind and soul, and inspires my art. Besides the blazin, I enjoy writing, 3-dimensional art, making jewelry, and music, of course. Hackysacking is by far one of my favorite pastimes!! I'm working on my nursing degree and have a degree in psychology. I am also an aspiring body piercer : )
I am about as real as they get, straight up, and really down to earth. I enjoy the hell out of nature--the city life has been depriving me, but there is beauty all around. People are just too busy and ignorant to slow life down and appreciate their surroundings. Graffiti is a beautiful thing, for instance, and the city of Boston is constantly tearing people down and supressing self expression. The government is fucked up and wants to make money off of everything or else it isnt ok.It is "the irony of it all" (by the streets). I grew up a three minute walk from cliffs that overlook the ocean...and it is my favorite spot in the world. I can find peace anywhere, but this is by far the greatest.
This has LITERALLY been my dream since I knew there was a High Times Magazine. I am a firm believer in the legalization of marijuana (AND MA HAS FINALLY DECRIMINALIZED IT!!!). MA has made a step towards freedom. I would rip a bong before I would take a drink any day. I have done a lot of research and have learned how to analyze statistics and have noticed that most of the information the government uses to justify their laws through findings tends to be misrepresented information. Usually, the studies that are presented are completely outdated, or the room for error in the study is way too high for the information to be accurate.
I'm a full time student and I am usually working my butt off. I LOVE laughing, I have a great sense of humor, and love making new friends. Hit me up--I'm down for talkin bout anything!
