First, I've got blogs about everything. Come check them all out & leave your ideas. Now a little about me....My name is Sunny Linn Stansbury. I come from, good ole Oklahoma City. People have always told me that the name fits me & I couldn't agree more. I try to live up to my name by bringing sunshine & happiness to my life & others.

I’m 23 years old & sometimes I’m surprised I’ve made it this long with all the crazy stuff I've done. I'm a junior in college, getting a degree in accounting. I'm good with numbers, what can I say? And for anyone who's seen "Grandma's Boy" the movie, it is hard to be an accountant stoned but that's what after work is for. I've been bisexual for 3 years now & wouldn't change a thing. I’m attracted to a person not a type. I fall in love with someone for their mind, personality, humor and not their gender. I try to be an individual & not follow the crowds too much but, good crowds usually mean good party. I like being diverse & knowledgeable which my friends think is me being a smartass. I try to always be open for new things & new people. I wouldn't want to miss out on something amazing because I was too small minded to try. I don't have the typical slim model body type, but I smoke a lot, there fore get the munchies a lot, but I'm happy with my body & I hope you are too. I'm a tomboy & a girlie girl too. I do my best to not judge & hope for the same in return. I love having debates with people to learn others' ideas and points of view that I hadn’t thought of. I can get very passionate about my beliefs but always try to make sure I know where they are coming from too and try to reach a mutual understanding of ideas. I like to tell people I'm a little bit of everything.

I enjoy doing a wide range of activities which of course smoking the herb everyday makes all things so much better. Since I was born my Dad turned me into a little tomboy from fishing, hunting, camping in a tent, and watching sports but college football the most, GO SOONERS!! Getting tattoos is a new favorite thing to do, I've got a new tattoo pics in my blog. I have 2 tattoos, my back piece and "Lilith" a painting by John Collier on my leg. Playing poker and "throwing bones" or dominos and going to bars hanging out with my guy friends who I can't live without. Listening to all kinds of music but especially Led Zeppelin. I have an entire back piece tattoo of the Led Zeppelin 4 inside album cover, the Old Hermit on the Mountain. I also enjoy staying in watching movies, writing poetry, playing with my 3 dogs and 3 cats (yes its a housefull), & voicing my opinions about politics & injustices in the world (liberal democrat!). And for those into astrology like myself I’m a Pisces.

I try to have an attitude of try anything once & that led to the day my best friend introduced me to Mary Jane some 8 years ago now.

Why I love marijuana so much is, it has been my saving grace in more ways then just getting high for fun, that's just a bad ass bonus. I have had high anxiety as well as bouts of depression and problems with OCD for a couple years now. I tried the pills docs like to push on you with bad side affects. The only thing that really kept me calm, didn’t make me sick, & without a worry of becoming addicted, was marijuana.

Why I want to be Miss High Times is, in my life I have seen the medical benefits for me & my friends struggling with their own medical problems. I want to spread the word that marijuana is not an evil gateway drug that should be stopped. Lift it up & show all the wonderful things it can do between medicinal purposes to using hemp to save the Earth, come on people it's the only planet we have. We smokers don't really want the government to get their greedy fingers into our "special pie" but at least a decriminalization which only helps with over crowding in jails, but it's a start right? Let me be me in the privacy of my own home & not worry about the cops strolling in to bust me. In Oklahoma we have some of the harshest marijuana laws and it’s a no tolerance policy, a single seed can get you jail time. I've even seen a cop test ashes from a blunt that got someone convicted. This is an exciting time for marijuana. I would love to help spread the word about this wonderful plant, travel, do interviews, & photo shoots, all of it. I am vocal about my beliefs & things we can do to help change. And that's just a little of who I am. I'm a 5' 2 1/2" firecraker. You either think I'm the coolest chick in the world or just don't get me. But I promise to be me and do what I do. I've got a lot of love to share so let's just all be friends.

To all of the wonderful, beautiful stoner ladies I've met and hope to meet:
I never send mass messages, but I experienced something this past weekend that relates to our cause, and renewed my motivation to FIGHT for legalization. I want to share my story with all of you.

I went with my boyfriend, my brother and my roommate to the national smoke-in in Washington DC on July 4th. It was my first time, but everyone else had been before and told stories about previous smoke-ins. They told me about the crowd rallying against police when they tried to arrest two smokers on 4:20. Everyone lit up around the cops, and they couldn't arrest the crowd, so they were forced to let everyone go. Stories like these made me so excited about so many passionate people in one place. It was held in Henry Bacon Ball Field in the middle of Washington DC. We got there around 2 and there were maybe 50 other people there. The crowd grew as the day went on...but NO ONE was smoking and everyone was scattered around the edges of the field, where the cops were. COPS EVERYWHERE! There were at least 15 uniformed officers and we were sure of 6 undercovers, maybe more. Every half hour a parade of cop cars, swat vans, etc would sail by, sirens blaring. There was a giant SPY TOWER set up over the field. Choppers hovered over the area periodically. The show of tyranny was disgusting. These measures were not taken to protect the crowd, they were to scare people into submission. We were told to light up at our own risk. As it was a PROTEST my group did so. multiple times. We were extremely careful and avoided undercovers and we were never caught. Others were not so lucky. One group started smoking and were busted almost immediately. They did not consent to a search but were all searched anyway. I immediately ran over as soon as I saw police approaching and expected everyone to follow. I turned around and maybe 10 people stood with me to shout "let them go!" in stoner solidarity. We were outnumbered by the 20 cops that led the 2 offenders away. It was such a disappointing moment, because we let them win. Fellow stoners stood by and watched as two of their peers had their rights violated. Similar events happened throughout the day. The ridiculous police presence scared people out of standing up for their rights! The woman's rights movement did not succeed because of scared, meek women who feared the law, or feared facing obstacles. The civil rights movement did not succeed because people who feared authority and bowed to oppression. To achieve victory over oppressors you have to be fearless! Yo have to be ready to fight, ready to sacrifice yourself for the bigger picture. The government will only continue to control us IF WE LET THEM. I'm calling on everyone I know, stoner or not, to recognize the extremity of our governments power and it's constant abuse of this power. We can and will defeat them if we stop being ninnies and woman-up for our cause and our rights.

Haha, I have no problem with going up in smoke!! Funny thing is I had a car named cheech and it sadly started on fire, but it was worth it just because I could say cheech went up in smoke!

Yeah I def love tattoos.. I didnt at first but my husband is a tattoo artist n since getting married 7 years ago I have fallin in love with tattoos and different art ppl put on them.. its just amazing.. I have never actually counted the tattoos I have or even how to begin counting them lol I have 2 full sleeves.. a big ol back piece I have a piece on my thigh that is in urban ink magazine.. kinda stoked bout that.. I have another on my calf that is pretty big also.. a chest piece that is pretty wickid.. u should add me on myspace under N Hendricks... u will be able to see them better.. I have never gotten any that have anything to do with bud leafs yet as far as tats go.. I luv that mary jane but not sure if I want a tattoo for that.. I have no clue how many hours either... well over a hundred im sure.. some of them are double sittings... ouch lol.. but yeah I really appericate u stopping by my page n showin some luv.. oh I almost forgot my fav one.. its my back piece.. I lost a son back in '06' and it is an angel in the clouds its pretty sweet.. kinda ironic I dont have one for my daughter tho.. hmmm ima have to work on that.. lol well hun better run.. dimes for sure.. much luv.. n how many do u have?
