11th Annual Medical Marijuana Benefit in Miami, FL!

In January 2009, I bellydanced at the 11th Annual Medical Marijuana Benefit in Miami, Florida! I wanted to do it for the cause, I really wanted to be a part of something that will make a difference. I shared the stage with a fellow bellydancer friend, Stacy Oh! And, we improvised a couple of "tribal fusion" belly dances to a set played by the Miami-based, experimental band "UOM".
I met Roger Scott from Florida NORML and some members of High Times were there as well. There were artists and vendors selling all kinds of marijuana-related products from all over the world! From beautiful Indian clothes to handmade hemp handsoap. The 11th Annual Medical Marijuana Benefit had all sorts of amazing sights to see!
I also ended up doing some flamenco for another band that was playing that night, and enjoyed a few smokes and drinks before the night was through! I can't wait for next year's Medical Marijuana Benefit!!!
