  The effectiveness of alcohol prohibition laws and enforcement is well known, it made criminal cartels that benefited and made the people criminals.This policy is bunk because it will not achieve the goals it bases its necessity upon. A self fulfilling prophecy, the socialist police state that proclaims freedom grows on its own legalistic policies. The end result, citizen pain and suffering, incarceration, destroyed families, controlled economics, more laws and police, and less freedoms.
