PLEASE READ MY NEW PROFILE...
I love High Times...full of awesome articles and great information on the love of my life. BUT...I've become truly ashamed at what this contest has become...anonymous posts, hateful comments, name calling, cheating, etc. I sometimes even question my involvement at all.

I never post negative comments and try to ignore those posted by others. But, I've seen such hateful things said to girls on here that it embarrasses me to be a part of it. Comments and words that can truly turn someone to something as serious as becoming suicidal. Is it all worth it?? Do these things make the other person really feel that much better about themselves? Do people really not have anything better to do? But, the biggest question on my mind....Do STONERS really have this much hatred in them?? That's extremely sad to me. This is not what we are all about!

Don't get me wrong, I am true to what I believe in and I'm also not a quitter. So I'm not quitting, because I would love nothing more than to represent one of the most important things in my life. But, the negativity on here amazes me. I appreciate all the love and support I've received so far, and hope that it continues. I will be returning the love I receive, but may not always be logged in to let you know. I just can't take the time to read the ugliness like girls talking about other girls eyebrows, ears, flabby arms, big noses, their size, nudity or lack of, etc, etc....theses are such minute details that do not make a person who they are. It is a shame that's all some of you see.

It embarrasses me that others may start to think this is what stoners are about...I wish the HATRED and UGLINESS would stop and people could focus on the issue...MARIJUANA!

Vote for your favorites and leave the others alone...it's very simple.

Sorry for such seriousness, and I'm sure this will bring me my share of the hatred...whatev. But, I had to say it. Now just a little more about me...

My name is Rebecca and I've been smoking daily for about ten years now. I had tried it several times before but it wasn't until a trip to Copenhagen for a wedding that I truly fell in love with the way Mary Jane makes me feel. It's been a part of each day for me ever since.

I disagree with the notion that smoking marijuana makes you a lazy, understimulated pothead. It has quite the opposite affect on me. It motivates me to do things I normally wouldn't. It makes me feel creative and energizes me. It helps me get through a days work or cleaning the house, and really adds to the fun had with friends. I also disagree with those that say marijuana makes you stupid. I'm an intelligent, hard working, loving mother that's kept the same job for over 15 years while using Mary Jane daily.

The green goddess helps me with the daily pain I suffer from. Hemp itself has so many uses and was put here on this earth for that intention. It's a shame that the affects at one time scared the government into trying to keep it from us. But, then the government tries to keep alot from us, as if we were all children that can't handle the outcome. It's scary to me that they would rather keep drinking, cigarettes and prescription drugs so much more readily accessible, when they are all so much more damaging. It's horrible that it has become the norm to be prescribed a pain reliever that you will get addicted to and have to take for the rest of your life, than to just let us smoke a little and actually feel better.

It scares me, especially having two children of my own, that prescription drug abuse is on the rise, especially among teens. The number of teens using prescription drugs has TRIPLED since 1992. And they are not all getting it prescribed to them. In fact, almost 3 million young people aged 12 to 17 have used prescription medications non-medically. And this is ok with our government? Slowly killing our youth to put money in their pockets?

I truly appreciate and thank all the organizations out there trying to get the truth out about marijuana. Hopefully one day with everyone's help we will be truly FREE in this country.
